Tenerife

The island of eternal spring

With sun all year round and mild temperatures of between 22ºC and 28ºC, the island of Tenerife is considered a natural jewel anchored in the Atlantic. Its capital is Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and it is one of the main European and international tourist destinations.

Puerto de la Cruz

A balcony facing the Atlantic

Puerto de la Cruz, the city with a town-like feel located at the foot of Mount Teide, in the Valley of Oratova, where its wine culture brings the volcanic aromas to the palate, combined with a colonial heritage in a city by the sea.

Teide National Park

World Heritage Site | UNESCO

The Mount Teide volcano, 38km from Hotel Botánico is the highest peak in Spain and the third largest volcano in the world. The snow on its summit contrasts with the spring-like weather of the valley, where summer temperatures scarcely go over 28°C and winter temperatures do not go below 21°C, an attraction that makes it the most visited National Park in Spain. Once you arrive, you can choose to walk up the paths of Cañadas del Teide or reach the top by cable car.

Historic quarters

La Orotava, La Laguna and Garachico

La Orotava is a beautiful town in northern Tenerife, declared a Historical Artistic Site, where you can soak up the essence of the Canary Islands on every corner of its old town, amid emblematic buildings and gardens.
La Laguna, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will leave you marvelling at its network of picturesque streets steeped in the kind of history that creates an unforgettable experience. Discover the beauty of Garachico, a charming town in Tenerife. Explore its historical architecture, feel the sea breeze and enjoy its rich volcanic history.

Beaches

El Médano and Benijo Beach

The beauty of the fine grey sand and the majestic sight of the Red Mountain volcanic cone, make El Médano Beach one of the most charming beaches in the South of Tenerife. We also recommend Benijo Beach, in the Anaga Rural Park, where you will find nature in its purest form. Magical sunsets and volcano silhouettes await your visit.

Natural spaces

Los Gigantes

These magnificent cliffs in the municipality of Santiago del Teide are a place of unbeatable natural beauty, among the most spectacular settings in Tenerife. Standing at a height of 600 metres above the Atlantic, the basalt cliffs offer unique views from the sea and by land.
